OUR STORY
Fresh water from the Andes Mountains and the abundant sunshine of Mendoza combine to create this delectable Malbec. Trailside Vineyards was founded in 2021 by a resident of Sacramento California who believes San Rafael Argentina is a new world frontier of wine. No expense was spared in creating this beautiful vineyard. It uses the best irrigation techniques, UC Davis root stock, and vine clones selected for elegance and local expression.
The renowned San Rafael winemaker, Fabricio Orlando worked with the farmers and agricultural engineers of Soluciones Agricoles and the Sacramento team of Dan Mellon and Luke Miner to produce the second vintage of Trailside Vineyards. Because the vines were only 3 years old at this time and not of sufficient maturity for quality winemaking, grapes were sourced from the personal vineyard of Fabricio Orlando to make this beautiful and delicious wine.
